Summer "Private" Wildlife Tours
There is more to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem (GYE) than Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, and Jackson Hole. And we want to take you to see it all. Have you heard of Shoshone National Forest or seen the Beartooth "America's Most Beautiful Drive" Pass? We can take you to see the ins, outs, and backroads of these areas and much more of this entire beautiful ecosystem.
With Life So Wild Tours, we are all about You! We take you on an all-exclusive, under-the-radar, luxurious tour to get those remarkable experiences and photographic captures of that grizzly bear, moose, wolf pack, or any other species that you have been dreaming of. Not to mention the world-class sightseeing and geothermal wonderland that is offered in the GYE.
Our summer tours begin mid-May when Yellowstone National Park roads are open and end October 31, or the day before the roads (the Grand Loop) close again for the winter. A typical full-day tour can last from 5 am to 7:30 pm.
If you’re in Jackson Hole or the Town of Jackson, Wilson, Teton Village, or Jackson Hole's surrounding area during Summer or Winter, we can do full and half-day local tours that allow you to explore the southern part of the GYE. For multiple day tours, we also offer pickups in other distant locations, including Bozeman, Big Sky, West Yellowstone, Montana etc. Please call for all pickup possibilities.
We will discuss your tour with you and find out exactly what you want to gain from this experience. Seriously, this is all about you, and we want to make sure you get what you came for.
We will do our best to get you to the animal that you want to see, but keep in mind the GYE is not a zoo and we cannot guarantee that a certain animal will appear on your tour. But we do have a reputation for dawning you with the grizzly bears, mountain goats and wolf packs.
Note for Photographers: If you have a photography tour group or individual photographers onboard, call and ask for Jeff our senior interpretive lead guide and professional wildlife artist-photographer. He will engineer and guide your custom private photo tour for You! Based on, specifically for the animals on your list and their seasonal habitats related to the GYE. He knows where the animals are and at what time of year they're there. Including multi-day tours, of intense wildlife and landscape photography. In addition (from 12/15 to 03/15), Jeff will guide you by snowcat/snowcoach into winter closure areas of Yellowstone National Park for magical photography multi-day photo-art tours. Please note: Jeff does not teach "Photography Workshops" per se. But, will always be willing to help you with basic settings. As well as, framing of the capture, and other related subjects in the course of the tours.
